Springfield, MO—Newly hired Mary Kay representative, Joan Fingersaver, recently booked the annual Mary Kay annual chapter meeting at the best location she had never visited, the Pink Cadillac on South Glenstone Street.
“Oh no I’ve never been there but I thought it would be the perfect place for our meeting, I mean, we drive pink Cadillac’s and they are the Pink Cadillac so what’s the big deal? They even said there would be plenty of girls available to try our new product we’re testing: Cotton Candy body spray!” said Fingersaver.
Fingersaver, who just moved to the Ozarks, apparently had no idea that the Pink Cadillac was the area’s oldest gentlemen’s club and not a ‘perfect Mary Kay meeting place’. “I was told there were several stages where we could have demonstrations and that we could even bring in our own props and music,” said Fingersaver.
An unnamed Mary Kay representative said that the event booking was a mistake and Mary Kay “provides beauty products to make women more appealing to men, we are not a strip club where women wear make-up to appeal to men.”
When Fingersaver was told that the meeting would have to be moved due to a conflict of interest she insisted that they stay the course, as there are several women at the Pink Cadillac who could use their products to paint themselves up every night to take men’s money. “It’s a great customer base,” she said.
